SIA Security Officer

We currently have exciting roles for an SIA Security Officer on a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, working 12-hour shifts.

The role involves maintaining the safety and security of the premises through regular internal and external patrols, ensuring all areas are secure and that any irregularities are promptly identified and addressed. Guards will be responsible for maintaining clear and consistent communication with the 24/7 control room, providing hourly updates and immediate reports of any incidents or security concerns.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting routine patrols to secure all designated areas
• Monitoring entrances, exits, and access points
• Reporting and recording any suspicious activities or safety hazards
• Responding promptly to alarms or emergency situations
• Liaising with site management and the control room to ensure smooth operations
• Providing a visible and reassuring security presence to staff, visitors, and the public

Requirements:

• Valid SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor)
• Excellent communication and observation skills
• Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently
• Previous security experience preferred but not essential
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
